Yianni’s New 2022 Range Rover Gets Yellow Wrap, Doesn’t Fit in His Garage

Land Rover just set a new luxury benchmark in the SUV segment with the all-new 2022 Range Rover. And one of the most famous customers of this 4×4 is none other than Yianni Charalambous from Yiannimize.

He’s best known as the guest star of the Carwow drag racing series, where he’s always kidding around with Mat Watson. Of course, his career is actually in wrapping cars for some of the richest athletes and celebrities in the UK.

The other thing Yianni is known for is collecting Lamborghinis. He’s brought many to Carwow races, including two different examples of the Urus SUV. Of course, celebrities all over the world are going to buy the new Range Rover, so the wrapped got one too, and highlighted how it could be customized.

Last month, Yianni purchased this 2022 Range Rover as a birthday present for himself. It was then sent over to Urban Automotive to get modified with an all-black look that included new trim and 24-inch wheels. After that, Mr. Lambo gave his team 48 hours to wrap the SUV in another color: satin yellow.

The yellow was supposed to be a kind of tribute to the early days of the Range Rover, but many of the people who saw it didn’t have a positive reaction. Some of the crew members say it resembles the yellow Range Rover from the 2004 film Layer Cake. Yianni says he’s known for ruining his cars, like the chrome Aventadors, so this customization may fall under “no such thing as bad publicity.”

Yianni’s garage, a new YouTube phenomenon

Even Mat with his 7-million-strong YouTube following acknowledged that Yianni’s garage is becoming famous. Who thought so many people would tune in to see somebody park cars at home?

Modern vehicles are becoming larger and larger, which is a problem in countries with old infrastructure like the UK. Roads and parking spots just aren’t big enough for these behemoths. The specs of Yianni’s SUV aren’t mentioned anywhere, but this looks like an Autobiography or First Edition, and the wrapper always gets the top version, so it’s got to have the P530 engine, which is a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 (from BMW).

From bumper to bumper, this is supposed to measure 199.1 inches or 5.058 meters. And does it fit in the garage? No, no it doesn’t. A bit of the Layer Cake is sticking out.
