Lil Uzi Vert Shows Rolls-Royce Cullinan “Vert Edition” Convertible on Forgiatos

Rapper Lil Uzi Vert already had a big collection of expensive and unique cars, but he just added something which nobody else has. This is a 1-of-1 Rolls-Royce Cullinan SUV that’s been made into a convertible, but might also be described as a truck.

Officially, this is the Cullinan “Vert Edition”, created for the rapper by Car Effex. They are the same people who made Lil Uzi Vert’s Audi R8 anime car. But this Rolls-Royce is much classier and could even be considered a show car… if it wasn’t full of diamonds and subwoofers.

Although everybody will just call this a Cullinan drop-top or convertible, it’s more like a Rolls-Royce SUV landaulet. Also known as a landaulette, this is a classic form of motor car where the passengers are usually covered by a convertible top. The driver would traditionally be separated by a division, and the style dates back to the age of horse-drawn carriages.

Cullinan with Maybach inspiration

There are quite a few landaulet cars scattered throughout the last century, but the most famous is the Maybach 62 Launaulet. That’s the one Jay Z and Kanye destroyed in “Otis.” A few years later, Mercedes-Maybach also introduced the opulent G 650 Landaulet with the lifted suspension from the 4×4 Squared and a V12 engine.

Every Maybach fan knows those two cars, and it’s not surprising that a Rolls-Royce landaulet was built. The Cullinan is, after all, the most prestigious luxury SUV in the world, and rappers are competing to see who can do the coolest mods. Sure, you can get a forged carbon Cullinan widebody kit, but somebody else might have the same thing.

The only problem with the Cullinan “Vert Edition” is the lack of a real convertible roof. As far as we can see, there’s no way to put the top back up. It does rain a lot in Atlanta, so maybe Lil Uzi is going to keep this in California.

Anyway, the customization has clearly been done by cutting the Cullinan where the roof skin meets the side frames. The top bracing was removed too, along with the sunroof, the trunk hatch, and the D-pillars. The taillights are in the same location, so this isn’t any longer than a conventional Cullinan. However, the bottom section of the trunk has been extended up to create a pickup-like tailgate.

Inside the trunk, we see a gigantic speaker system covered in the same new leather upholstery as the rest of the interior. Being a fan of Japanese culture, Lil Uzi chose to upholster the headrests with Domo-kun, a strange brown monster who enjoys TV and rock music.

Other notable upgrades include the Spirit of Ecstasy mascot which has a purple base and has been encrusted in diamonds, like a watch. The price of all this? At least $100,000 on top of the Cullinan, which retails for around $355,000 right now.
