2025 Toyota Camry Widebody Kit by Zephyr Makes a Digital Impact

With the 2025 Toyota Camry just months away from its US market debut (Spring 2024), the Lexus-like appearance of this new generation has expanded the already-generous fanbase of the mid-size sedanโ€”American deliveries reached 295,201 units last year. And there’s a strong case to be made for a 2025 Toyota Camry widebody kit, something we can now cover in virtual form.

The ninth-generation XV80 Camry is a heavily revised version of its XV70 predecessor, so it still rides on the carmaker’s GA-K platform. And while its shadow is now a little longer, the generation switch hasn’t impacted the width.

Cue the 2025 Toyota Camry widebody kit envisioned by digital artist Vishnu Suresh (aka Zephyr Designz). This maintains the sedan’s lightning signature, which the Camry inherited from the new Prius, but adds plenty of fresh goodies, albeit as a rendering.

Thus, the Camry widebody includes a vented hood, a new front bumper with a motorsport-like design for the intakes, front and rear overfenders, as well as extensions for the rear doors, the kind Audi offers on its RS models. And if we look inside the muscular fenders, we find HRE Performance S1SC Series S104SC wheels working with a lowering suspension.

Then we have the side skirt additions, along with a boot lid spoiler and a new rear bumper. The latter mixes a diffuser packing an F1-style central fog light with quadruple super-sized tailpipes. Zephyr Designz seriously pumps up the aesthetics of the vehicles he renders (like this VW Golf 8 R), and his 2025 Toyota Camry widebody kit rendering is no exception.

Sure, Toyota naturally prioritizes efficiency and has even removed the 301 hp V6 from the range. But a slice of the model’s generous global customer base will seek an even sportier image, and you can expect a few aftermarket developers to build widebody kits for the new Camry in the real world. To be more precise, based on what you could buy for the eighth-gen model, the 2025+ Camry should receive Yofer and Battle Aero widebody work.

Toyota could cater to this side of the market by reviving the GR Camry for the 2026 model year

Toyota itself may up the ante on the dynamic level, bringing back the GR Camry for the 2026 model year. Nevertheless, the automaker currently remains mum on this topic. Meanwhile, the standard Camry is offered with a hybrid powertrain mixing a 2.5L four-cylinder with electric motors.

The FWD Camry gets two electric motors for a total of 225 hp, while the AWD version gains a third motor generator for the rear axle, which brings the output to 232 hp. Both versions use an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (eCVT).

And while we’re discussing the work of Zephyr Designz, have you seen the widebody kit the artist rendered for the 2023 Toyota Prius? It’s arguably the most famous CGI aero work the hybrid has received to date.
