Ram TRX 6×6 Gets Apocalypse Juggernaut Kit and 40-Inch Wheels, Costs $300,000

Jeeps have the largest community of 4×4 customizers, and sometimes the Wranglers and Gladiators are almost unrecognizable due to their new front ends. Today, we met a Ram TRX called the Juggernaut 6×6, which also doesn’t look like a Ram truck, but a custom Jeep.

That’s not surprising at all, since the company that made the custom TRX is Apocalypse 6×6. They’re connected to a Jeep dealership, fabricate Jeep parts and custom wheels for these 6×6 monsters, plus they have a thing for Armageddon.

The base 6×6 conversion for the TRX, called the Warlord, has already been tested in the 2022 edition of the Gumball 300 rally from Toronto to Key West and it supposedly averaged 100 miles per hour. Triple F collection has one, and they jumped it numerous times, so the custom extended chassis is durable.

As a fan of the classic X-Men cartoons, the name Juggernaut is an immediate reminder of one of the unstoppable mutants in that series. Not only is the Juggernaut a Marvel character, but they’ve also got their own version of four horsemen of the apocalypse. There was a movie, but it bombed, by the way.

In any case, the Juggernaut 6×6 is based on the Ram TRX 6×6 Warlord conversion, but it looks nothing like the original. Even though the body of the 1500 series truck is already huge, they’ve widened the stance further with some massive 40-inch tall tires and concave copper-colored alloys.

Just like in Jeep conversions, the Juggernaut 6×6 gets rid of its normal fenders, replacing them with strange geometric flares. The bumper has also been redesigned around the Apocalypse logo and provides a better approach angle. The hood is pretty much the only part recognizable from the TRX.

For the cab, we only have a roof-mounted light bar. Meanwhile, the bed has its own transformation, extended to accommodate two Dana 60 axles and these massive tires. A geometric cover looks like the one offered in the Hellfire series, for Jeep. And in case you’re more of a Ford guy, the same shop (South Florida Jeeps) has also done a 6×6 pickup conversion for the new Bronco.

And we’re not even close to done listing the mods. The Juggernaut 6×6 wants to be an “apex predator” in the pickup world, so its normal 700-horsepower TRX engine was upgraded to produce 850 hp. Bilstein E2 black hawk shocks are used in the electronically-controlled suspension system, which makes everything sound fancy.

And the price of all this? $300,000. It sounds like silly money for a truck that’s now impossibly large. But we know plenty of customers will want the biggest, the most powerful truck on the block. This thing is so big you should get a tank-driving permit for it.
