In just a couple of months from now, the Lamborghini Revuelto will reach its first customers across the world. This is the first-ever plug-in hybrid Lamborghini and you may want to know the Revuelto pricing, since this info wasn’t delivered along with the public presentation back in March.
Fortunately, we know that the MSRP of the Lamborghini Revuelto sits at $604,000. The info comes from vlogger James Lucas Condon (aka TheStradman), famous for his supercar collection, who has shared the details of his configuration.
In a similar situation, we have the base price of the Revuleto in the UK (£450,000), which comes to us with the spec chosen by another massively popular vlogger, namely Yianni Charalambous (aka @yiannimize). You may know Yianni from his wrap shop showcased on his YouTube channel, or his appearances in carwow drag races alongside host Mat Watson.
TheStradman did a thorough job tracking down the MSRP progression of V12 Lamborghinis, going back all the way to the Diablo of the early 1990s, which started at $239,000—that would be $570,000 adjusted for inflation (May 2023). The Murcielago came next in 2001—Audi had already bought the Italian carmaker meanwhile—with an MSRP of $281,000. And when the Aventador took over in 2011, featuring a $376,000 MSRP.
The massive gap to the said $604,000 MSRP of the Revuleto is attributed to reasons like the plug-in hybrid tech allowing Lamborghini to keep that N/A V12 alive, added tech like driver assistance features, more standard features, and, of course, inflation. As described in this Revuelto walkaround, the 6.5L V12 makes 814 hp and if we add the 187 electric horses, we get a total of 1,001 hp.
Carbon fiber is among the priciest options on the Revuleto
As TheStadman and yiannimize both show, opting for the full carbon exterior on the Lamborghini Revuelto will set you back around $50,000. In fact, the former’s spec distinguishes between a $22,400 lower exterior carbon package and a $21,600 upper exterior carbon package.
Choosing one of the supercar’s two-tone exterior finishes will also set you back roughly $50,000, while a “simple” standout color like TheStradman’s Viola Parsifae finish costs $13,1000. His wheels? $5,900. And if you’re looking for fully electric and heated seats, be prepared to pay an extra $3,000.
Oh, and here’s how the Revuelto’s EV mode (only in the Strada driving mode) sounds like.
The first Revuleto customer deliveries are expected for the final part of 2023
TheStradman is buying his Revuleto from Lamborghini Paramus in New Jersey, while Yiannimize turned to HR Owen, with the dealers helping the vloggers spec their Raging Bulls.
In fact, while the British vlogger built his spec on camera using the dealer’s Ad Personam configurator, TheStradman went even further while aiming to get his hands on one of the first 200 Revueltos to be delivered worldwide.
For the owners of the said 200 Revueltos, Lamborghini pre-built a total of seven specs based on the exterior color.
And TheStradman tells us that these early Revuletos will reach their owners in the final part of 2023, albeit with an early 2024 delivery still being possible at this time—the first quarter of next year is the delivery window yiannimize got for his configured-from-scratch car.
Now, since the Revuelto is sold out for at least two years, as Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann told Road & Track in March, what is the carmaker doing to prevent speculators who will wish to flip the car? For one, TheStradman mentions that his agreement to buy one of the first examples in the world mentions he’s not allowed to sell the vehicle “for a number of years”.
Keep in mind that, as HR Owen told yiannimize in a recent video (not the one below), Lamborghini’s engineers are still working on the exhaust sound of the Revuelto. Basically, after some people wondered if the new model matches the devilish exhaust sound of the Aventador, Lamborghini wants to make sure the answer is right.
You can check out both vlogger’s Revuelto configurations in the videos below, with iannyiannimize surveying HR Owen about the most popular options and the ones that ensure a greater resale value for the Revuelto, like Apple CarPlay.
