Porsche 997 “The Indecent” Widebody Has GT3 Looks, Is Slammed on Rotiforms

Right now, one of the biggest aftermarket events in the world is taking place in Poland. It’s called Ultrace 22, and while you may not have heard of it, some of the biggest names, such as Rotiform or Hoonigan are there. One of the new European builds that caught our attention is this old Porsche 911 that’s received a full widebody makeover.

The project is dubbed “The Indecent” and is the brainchild of Sebastien Polit, who’s got a detailing studio and created this widebody kit with the aim of series production.

Porsche fans should have noticed already that this is a 997 generation of the 911, one of the best sports car ever made. Many professional/racecar drivers say the 997 is worth buying because it’s at the confluence of modern technology and old-fashioned feel and driver engagement.

Specifically, this is the 997 Carrera S, meaning it’s rear-wheel drive and packs a 3.8-liter flat-six engine producing about 350 horsepower from 2004-2008 or 385 hp until the new generation in 2011.

Polit is a self-proclaimed fan of the RWB. However, the famed maker of Japanese widebody kits generally targets the older models, and there’s not much development work post 996. The first step of the build was to figure out the stance, which was done with BC Racing coilover suspension and Airlift controls.

Works on 997 Cabrio too, Turbo wing incoming

Things really took off when Polit ordered a custom set of wheels. They make look like cut-up old 993 wheels, but these are factory-fresh Rotiform FUC alloys, 14 inches wide at the back with 7 inches of depth. FUC, not Fuchs… that’s pretty funny!

In 2021, work began on the widebody kit. And because multiple “Indecent” 997s are supposed to be built, the method is all high-tech. First, the body was scanned, and a 3D process was used to put down the fender flares. This is a very clean design with large pieces that can be molded to the body.

The body kit completely changes the rear fenders all the way up to the glass, the fronts are mostly inserts. As you may have noticed, this has new bumpers as well. The front end has exactly the same grille openings as the much sportier GT3. Meanwhile, the rear has GT3 elements of its own, like the exhaust placement and those little vents.

However, it’s also got some modern twists, the ducktail spoiler, and the engine deck which looks just like on a new 911 Sport Classic. Like we said, this kit is going to be for sale, so you know where to get an RWB-style fix for the 997. Also, we’d like to note that the stunning metallic yellow is a wrap, Inozetek Dandelion Yellow.
