Lamborghini Urus 6×6 Pickup Being Secretly Built by French Hot Rodder, Here’s Proof

The Lamborghini Urus went from the car that could have ruined a brand to one of the most famous SUVs ever built. It’s frequently called a super-SUV. However, there’s always one level above 4×4, which is 6×6. That’s why a famous French hot rodder is reportedly working on the world’s first Lamborgini Urus 6×6.

Brands like Hennessey and Apocalypse 6×6 are known for their extreme 3-axle conversions. So it’s about time somebody proved America doesn’t have a monopoly on gas-guzzling oversized luxury vehicles that look like army surplus.

The idea of 6×6 Urus is nothing new; there have been numerous renderings on this subject over the years. However, we’ve just learned that a famed custom car maker from France is working on a real one that you can driveโ€ฆ as long as you’re a millionaire.

The Supercar Blondie YouTube channel just visited an exclusive car collection in the middle east to check out a Rolls-Royce 6×6. It had been built by none other than Danton Alexandre, a man who’s made a name for himself for building European classic cars in the style of American hot rods.

Danton lives in a castle, is buff as heck, covered in tattoos, and created like a Porsche 911 with a Bentley engine at the front. It’s the most delicious sacrilege you can imagine, and I can’t for people to scream “it’s pointless” over the Lamborghini Urus 6×6.

6×6 conversion: what we know

This information comes from YouTuber/influencer Dominika Sofroniciova, though it’s obviously been leaked right from the source. Danton must have not only provided behind-the-scenes photos of the 6×6 Rolls-Royce but also a preview of his next project. I can only presume that this is an expensive build and requires all the support it can get.

It takes a customer with deep pockets to buy a $230,000 Lamborghini SUV and have it chopped up into little pieces. We wouldn’t be surprised if the thing ends up costing more than $500,000.

As for the preview, these are quite obviously some renderings from the famed Al Yasid/Yarid Design, who has collaborated with Danton in the past. It’s actually been published in 2019 with a similar body kit, but it didn’t have the low-rider stance, which is actually quite clever. All the other 6×6 builds have Baja-style suspension, whereas this connects the Urus’ racing pedigree with the Tyrrell P34, a six-wheeled F1 race car. Everybody is going to see the connection!

Speaking of connections, Danton is apparently making the Urus into a pickup truck, reflecting the LM002. If the renderings will serve as the foundation of the project, everything from the trunk lid back will be extended, and it’s also going to feature an extremely widebody kit wrapping around oversized tires.

It’s not like the Urus pickup will do actual work on the farm, but it will be a nice way to connect this to the G63 AMG 6×6. Portal axles vs lowered air suspension. Aero vs locking diffs and air diffusers.
