Andrew Tate’s latest supercar is black, makes 1000 horsepower but is also good for the environment. At least he says so. Care to guess what it is? A brand new Ferrari SF90 in black has been delivered to his some in Romania and is only the latest supercar meant to replace those impounded by the local police.
Tate has been busy re-stocking his supercar collection, adding a new McLaren 765LT to replace the one currently in Romanian police custody. After that, he took delivery of a Maserati MC20. And because that wasn’t exciting enough, he bought a brand new Ferrari, one of the fastest cars on the planet.
The SF90 Stradale is one of the most advanced Ferraris ever made. In addition to the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, this supercar is equipped with 3 electric motors (two front, one rear). This gives it near-instant acceleration and AWD.
Ferrari claims 0 to 60 mph takes 2.5 seconds. However, Motor Trend got 2.1 seconds when they tested it a couple of years back. The top speed is 211 mph, not that Tate will ever be able to go that fast on the road. Tate’s most famous car, the gold Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport, has a top speed of 217 mph. This is limited compared to the 261 mph of a regular Chiron because of softer tires and suspension geometry.
Tate’s first hybrid?
Everybody knows where Andrew Tate stands about the environment. But the Ferrari SF90 gives him an interesting opportunity. This supercar is also Tate’s first hybrid, as he jokes he and Greta Thunberg are now close.
It’s impossible to imagine that a Ferrari which makes 1000 hp, as much as a Bugatti Chiron, can be good for the environment. However, if you press the eDRIVE button on the steering wheel, it really can drive in EV mode. The SF90 is the first Ferrari you can drive on electric power alone, in total silence, but the range is only 15 miles. Still, that should be enough to buy some Jerry’s Pizza.
How much does Andrew Tate’s Ferrari cost? The base price of a Ferrari SF90 is about $530,000 for the current model year. Tate’s car seems to have the Assetto Fiorano performance package, which could mean it’s closer to $700,000.
Not only is it “electric” but it seems the SF90 is also a batmobile. “You’ll be driving through the mountains late at night and something will overtake you. What was that? That will be me in the pitch black,” Tate comments on the spec of his dark supercar.
Owning a batmobile is the dream of every little boy, and the SF90 does honestly look like one in black.
