Ever wished there was more WhistlinDiesel content on the internet? Well, you’re in luck, because he’s started a brand new YouTube channel called WhistlinDisel 1000. It seems to be dedicated to lower-quality content that doesn’t require explosives, while also making fun of other automotive YouTubers.
The channel already has 130,000 subscribers at the time of writing this article, while the one and only uploaded video is on its way to a million views. That would be shocking for anybody else except WhistlinDiesel.
The first video of the WD-1000 channel is titled “Buying my 1,000th new car (emotional) (taking delivery) (not clickbat).” It’s about picking up a brand-new luxury Mercedes SUV while also making fun of every YouTuber doing supercar delivery content.
The SUV in question is Cody’s second Mercedes-AMG G63. He’s got another one in red, but that was basically wrecked during “durability testing.” Is the second G-Wagon going to survive? We don’t know, but it is a nice one, featuring lots of satin black accessories and our favorite paint color, desert sand.
People are already making fun of Cody’s G-Class addiction with comments like: “You know it’s a good car when he buys it twice.”
WhistlinDiesel making fun of DDE
While the video seems to make fun of every large YouTube channel buying supercars, the most watched potion is specifically aimed at Daily Driven Exotics/DDE.
“Oh no, my name isn’t on the rally decal for all the sponsors. I think I’m going to get all upset and sensitive about it,” WhistlinDiesel jokes.
In case you don’t know, Daily Driven Exotics put up a video over three weeks ago called “Confronting Shmee150 for Disrespecting DDE & Gumball Livery.” Basically, DDE was one of the sponsors of the 2023 Gumball 3000 rally. But Shmee150 didn’t have the right stickers on his car. The situation was clarified and eventually resolved amiably, but it did seem a little… petty to get upset about some stickers.
There’s also another part of the video where Cody pretends to argue with a policeman about being caught doing 190 miles per hour. Again, this is directed at Damon Flyer and his legendary confrontations with lawmen.
WhistlinDiesel is also making fun of other automotive YouTube channels that only film videos of supercars being delivered and then sold. Now, this could be anybody: Shmee150, The Hamilton Collection, The Triple F Collection, or even Supercar Blondie. But many people, myself included, believe it’s a reference to the king of delivery videos, Stradman.
It’s worth noting that WhistlinDiesel has made fun of DDE before, through some Instagram stories about 8 months ago. DDE proved they can take a joke without missing a chance to fire back at Cody.
